The 7-Day TikTok Challenge
Are you ready to accept my challenge?
If your first thought is, "Nope. I am not creating videos for social media," then I will respect that. I would not be doing my job here if I wasn't challenging you to step outside of your comfort zone, though, because I know this works - if you work it.
When TikTok first appeared, I created an account and started making some short videos of myself and my cat, Flo. Why, you may be asking.
Two reasons:
1) I wanted to learn more about TikTok and how it worked.
2) I thought it would be fun and interesting.
The results were exciting because this happened when we were in lockdown from the COVID pandemic. I enjoyed doing the videos, but I soon learned I needed consistentency with my content. You cannot just pick it up and put it down.
I (or I should say 'we') amassed 40,000 followers in the first year. Flo was the superstar, not me, and everyone loved her.
I was just her creative content manager.
How does this relate to your business?
TikTok is NOT just for the younger generation. Most people around the world are using TikTok because it's a great way to connect and absorb content quickly and easily.
This is an ideal platform if you have a product or service available globally. If you are servicing a particular area, then there are likely to be fewer people using TikTok, but the numbers are likely to be more than you think! (Use the TikTok insights to see where your followers are from)
